Live Music From Tom Dibb at Bar Bar
This week, Bar Bar has welcomed back our customers INSIDE (!!!) after 6 months of lockdown restrictions. Who knew back at Christmas time we would have waited this long to have chatter and buzz back in the building?!
Our outside seating area had been super popular, particularly during those dry, hazy days of April. We welcomed many guests, most of whom still were being absolute troopers and working from home, to sit amongst the hustle and bustle of Wolverton Square, over looking the gorgeous graffiti murals on The Agora. Fresh air and a toasted cheese sarnie with a fresh cup of coffee was a welcome escape from the normality of home office life and we loved being able to serve in cups once more!
Now, with restrictions giving us the ability to welcome customers inside, we want to kick things off in true Bar Bar fashion with a live performance from none other; Tom Dibb @tomdibbmusic
You may recognise Tom from a performance and street art programme we run in partnership with The Centre:MK – he has dates singing in the Queens Court open air square as well as a healthy roster of dates booked throughout the forthcoming Summer, such as the River Thames Boat Tour, International Campervan 2021 Festival and Blue Reef Fest. He has recently released a wicked cover of the well known classic “No Woman No Cry” on Spotify and we can’t wait to have him in the coffee shop bringing his roots inspired, acoustic style back to the vibe at Bar Bar.
He will be playing a 1 hour set in the coffee shop on Saturday 22nd May starting at around 3pm. We welcome you to arrive and take your seats and enjoy the tunes whilst we serve you!
Follow us on all the relevant socials to hear about more future live performances, workshops and club meets as restrictions lift further and we can all get back to that real life “normal” good stuff.
